How the pet version works

1. Keep the cast set to Pet. It is already selected on this page.
2. Upload a photo of your pet. One pet, on its own, with no people in the frame.
3. Upload a photo of yourself. One person, face clearly visible.
4. Generate. In about a minute you get a 12-second clip to download.

Who plays which part

• Your pet is the one who comes out of the dark, changed.
• You are the one holding the old rifle who recognises them and lowers it.

The rest follows the trend scene for scene: the standoff, the hug and the switch to a bright memory. As in the standard version, no shot is fired and there is no blood and no injury.

Choosing the pet photo

• Only one animal. If you have two pets, pick one for this video.
• No faces in the shot. A human face anywhere in the frame gets the photo rejected. Hands and laps are allowed, but crop them out if you can so the pet fills the picture.
• Face toward the camera. Eye-level photos work better than shots taken from above.
• Good light. Dark fur in a dark room loses its detail. Daylight near a window is enough.
• No costumes or filters. A plain photo gives the model the most to work with.

Choosing your own photo

Use a recent, front-facing photo without sunglasses or a hat. It does not need to be a photo with your pet in it. In fact, it should not be: one photo for the pet, one for you.

Rules for the pet version

• The person in the second photo must be an adult.
• The pet photo must show a single pet and no people.
• Photos of celebrities and public figures are not accepted.

Photos are checked automatically after upload. If one is rejected, no credits are used and you can upload a different one.

What it costs

The pet version costs the same as the standard one: 4 to 10 credits per video, depending on resolution. The smallest pack is $7.99, bought once, with no subscription.
